Analyzing and Synthesizing Data
Following my qualitative research I spent a period of time synthesizing data to identify common themes among all the research participants. What kinds of things would a culinary design tool need to accomplish? What kinds of desires would it need to cater to? And most importantly, what kinds of thought processes would the design need to support and encourage for users? I made a lot of early prototypes and mapped out many cooking processes in order to discover the variables that occur in each.
