Melissa Ann Martin is a designer, UX researcher and educator with a passion for human-centered design and research practices. This passion stems from my belief that good design is more than skin deep. And while aesthetics play a role in the success of any design, designing with the needs of individuals, their businesses or communities in mind leads to better solutions, happier people and stronger communities.

I hold a MFA in Design with a focus on Interaction and Communication Design and a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications. I also spent a summer studying at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art du Valais in Sierre, Switzerland where I investigated designing interactive memory maps of location-specific sensory experiences.
